Approving Oversized Loans with Group Consent

This article details the process for DreamSave users to approve oversized loans with group consensus. This feature is beneficial in situations where a member is in need of a loan amount that is slightly higher than their savings limit.

1. Navigate to the 'Meetings' section and begin a new meeting.
2. Navigate to the 'New Loans' section.
   
3. Choose the member who will receive the oversized loan.
4. Input the requested loan amount, purpose of the loan, and then click 'Done'.
5. A pop-up message will appear. Read this aloud to the group to ensure everyone is informed.
6. Select the option “Override our loan policy and approve this loan” and click 'OK'.
7. Another pop-up titled "Are you sure?" will appear. This is a secondary confirmation step.
8. Choose the officer responsible for approving the loan. The app will suggest an officer, but you can select a different one if necessary. Pass the phone to the chosen officer for their signature.
9.  The borrower also needs to sign. Select their name and hand them the phone to sign.
10. If a co-signer is required, proceed with their signature as well.
11. After all necessary signatures are obtained, click 'Done'. This completes the oversized loan approval process for the member.
12.  Finally, you need to formally approve the loan. After this, the loan can be issued to the member.

All members will receive an SMS notification about the oversized loan approval, as this ensures transparency within the group. 
The approval of the oversized loan will be recorded in the Meeting History for future reference and accountability.
