Remove a Member from the Group

This article provides a clear guide for DreamSave users on how to remove a member during an ongoing cycle. This process is essential in situations where a member needs to exit the group before the cycle completes.

Keep in mind, this action can only be done while a meeting is in progress. If you haven't started a meeting in DreamSave, kindly begin one with your group members.

The 3 members who unlocked the group account with their passcodes cannot be removed during the meeting. The bookkeeper must log out and select other members to log in before removing the members in question.

1. Start by navigating to the 'Setup' section in your DreamSave App.
   
2. Within 'Setup', proceed to 'Member Profiles'.
   
3. Search for the member you wish to remove. 
   
4. Once you find the member, select 'Remove' next to their name.
5. A prompt will appear asking for confirmation. Click 'YES' to confirm.
6. After confirming, you will be directed to review the final settlement. This step allows you to approve or modify the amount the departing member will receive. Make any necessary adjustments here.
7. Conclude the process by clicking 'Approve'. After reading the confirmation message, select 'CONFIRMED', and then click 'Done'.

The removal of the member will be registered in the group's records, ensuring transparency and maintaining historical accuracy.
